Kennesaw’s newest ice cream destination brings a taste of India to every cone. Kwality Ice Cream, located adjacent to Bawarchi Biryanis, is serving up super-premium frozen desserts made fresh daily with all-natural ingredients and rich, authentic flavors. With 40 locations nationwide, Kwality Ice Cream has earned its place as the largest Indian ice cream maker in the country.
Each batch begins with a 16% butterfat base, churned in small quantities to achieve that velvety texture that true ice cream lovers crave. From the moment the scoop hits your spoon, it’s easy to taste the difference. Each flavor is created through a careful process that blends science with indulgence. The approach comes from co-founders Dr. Kanti Parekh and his son, Anand Parekh. Dr. Parekh is a food scientist and flavorist with more than forty years of experience. He built the brand on the idea that great ingredients and consistency lead to unforgettable ice cream.
Kwality’s menu celebrates both classic and traditional Indian-inspired favorites. Guests can explore unique flavors such as Kesar Pista (saffron and pistachio), Rajbhog (sweet cheese with nuts), Mitha Paan (a refreshing betel leaf blend), Thandai (spiced almond and rose), and Chickoo (a tropical fruit known as sapota). More familiar options like Cookies and Cream, English Toffee, and Strawberry are also available.
One of the shop’s more popular offerings is Kulfi, a dense and creamy dessert with origins tracing back to India’s Mughal era. “Kulfi was once a royal delicacy,” explained co-owner Anand Parekh. “It’s like ice cream, but thicker and creamier because it isn’t whipped—it’s slowly frozen.” Today, Kwality Ice Cream continues that tradition with a variety of Kulfi, Falooda, and Cassata options that highlight India’s dessert heritage.
Bawarchi Biryanis, located adjacent to Kwality Ice Cream, features a menu built around Hyderabadi dum biryani and a wide range of regional Indian favorites.
