KSU 2026 Football Schedule

Kennesaw State football returns in 2026 with a schedule that mixes regional matchups, conference play, and a trip to one of college football’s loudest stadiums. The Owls will spend plenty of time at Walens Family Field at Fifth Third Stadium, though several midweek games mean fans may need to adjust their calendars and maybe their sleep schedules. From the Spring Game in April through a late November finish against Liberty, the season offers a little bit of everything.

2026 Schedule

April 11 – Spring Game (Home)
The annual Spring Game is the unofficial kickoff to football season and the official kickoff to saying “this team looks different this year.” Free tickets help, and so does the optimism that comes with zero losses on the record. So show up, grab a seat, and start convincing yourself this might be the year everything clicks.

September 3 – West Georgia (Home)
Thursday night opener means one thing: someone is absolutely skipping their Friday morning class. The Owls get a chance to start strong at home, and the student section should be in midseason form immediately.

September 12 – Georgia State (Home)
A short drive for Georgia State, which means plenty of visiting fans and plenty of opinions. Expect some back-and-forth in the stands and a game that feels a little more personal than usual.

September 19 – Tennessee (Away)
Knoxville brings noise, tradition, and about 100,000 people wearing orange. It is a great road trip for fans and a serious test for the team. Also a great reminder that not all orange looks the same. Neyland Stadium is known for its volume, so communication might require more hand signals than usual.

September 26 – Arkansas State (Away)
Another road trip, another chance to prove something early in the season. If you are making the trip, bring snacks. It is a bit of a haul. If not, the couch might be the better option.

October 7 – Jacksonville State (Home)
Wednesday night football is back, which means juggling assignments, group projects, and kickoff times. The upside is a packed stadium on a weeknight, which somehow always feels louder.

October 13 – Middle Tennessee (Away)
Tuesday night football in Murfreesboro. It is the perfect excuse to ignore emails, group chats, and anything due by midnight.

October 20 – Delaware (Home)
Another weekday game, and by now everyone has accepted that playing football on Saturdays is optional this season. Still, nothing beats a night game on campus with the lights on and the crowd locked in.

October 28 – Louisiana Tech (Away)
A Wednesday night trip to Louisiana means late kickoff, early alarm, and a lot of coffee the next morning. Worth it if the Owls take care of business.

November 7 – Western Kentucky (Home)
Back to Saturday football, which feels like a reward at this point. Tailgating returns to normal, and nobody has to double check what day it is before heading to the stadium.

November 14 – Sam Houston (Away)
A trip to Texas in November brings higher stakes and a little extra pressure. This is the time of year when every play starts to matter a lot more.

November 21 – Missouri State (Away)
Another road game late in the season. At this point, the team has seen enough hotels and bus rides to last a while. One more push before heading home.

November 28 – Liberty (Home)
The regular season wraps up at home, which is exactly where you want to be. If things are on the line, expect a loud crowd and a game that keeps everyone watching until the final seconds.
