The first shovel hits the dirt this Saturday, November 15, 2025 as Reformation Brewery begins work on its new Downtown Kennesaw location. The ceremony starts at 1 pm, giving guests a look at plans for the future taproom, distilling facility, and outdoor space. It is a relaxed way to kick off the afternoon before the Fall Crawl begins at 2 pm.
What’s Ahead for Reformation Brewery
The project covers two buildings on the corner of Main Street and J.O. Stephenson Avenue at 2861 Main Street. One building will hold a 6,886 square foot taproom, while a 1,300 square foot facility next door will handle distilling. The outdoor “Kennesaw Backyard” area will add space for events along with food service from a partner still being finalized. The team is targeting a 2027 opening.
A Full Afternoon in Downtown Kennesaw
Once the groundbreaking wraps up, guests can head straight into the Downtown Kennesaw Fall Pub Crawl. With the ceremony at 1 pm and the crawl starting at 2 pm, the timing feels suspiciously convenient for anyone hoping to make a full day of it.
