Golfers can tee up for a purpose at the Ron Godwin Memorial Golf Tournament, benefiting MUST Ministries and its vital programs that provide food, shelter, clothing, and hope to those facing hardship. This annual tournament combines friendly competition with heartfelt giving on one of Georgia’s premier private courses.
Tee Times and Tournament Details
The event takes place at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw. Players can choose between two flights. The morning flight begins with check-in and practice from 7 to 8 am, followed by an 8 am shotgun start. Breakfast, lunch, and morning flight post-lunch awards are included. The afternoon flight kicks off with check-in, practice, and lunch from noon to 1:30 pm, leading into a 1:30 pm shotgun start. Afternoon flight dinner and awards follow play.
Prizes and Player Perks
Each flight will recognize 1st and 2nd place teams along with winners for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Putting Contest, and Hole in One. All participants receive green fees, a cart rental, range balls, swag bag, meals, and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. VIP Player Packs add premium swag, two drink tickets, and preferred flight selection (as available). Individual players and non-sponsored foursomes are welcome as space allows.
Play a Legendary Course
Pinetree Country Club’s 18-hole championship course, originally designed by noted architect Chick Adams in 1962, is recognized among Georgia’s finest private courses. The tournament offers players a rare chance to experience its classic layout while supporting a meaningful mission.
Extra Ways to Get Involved
A silent auction is open for bidding, and participation isn’t limited to golfers. Supporters can place bids and win prizes without attending the tournament.
