Downtown Kennesaw will soon shine a little brighter as Depot Park transforms into a festive forest for the City’s fifth annual Holiday Extravaganza. Stroll through rows of decorated trees and enjoy the creativity of local businesses, schools, organizations, and families who have gone all out with tinsel, lights, ribbons, and more.
Each tree is decorated in its own unique style, so no two displays look the same. Some sparkle with twinkling lights, while others showcase handmade ornaments or clever themes that might make you smile. The decorations are family-friendly, playful, and meant to bring a little extra cheer to downtown Kennesaw.
Visitors can stop by all season long to see how the park has been transformed into a holiday attraction. It is the perfect backdrop for a seasonal walk, photos with friends, or simply soaking up some holiday cheer. Depot Park’s central location makes it an easy stop for an evening outing after dinner or a fun weekend activity. Since the trees remain on display through early January, there is plenty of time to visit more than once.
