Dill Dinkers Pickleball Club is opening a new 10 court climate controlled club at 2500 Cobb Place Lane NW. The Kennesaw club has eight regulation size courts and two championship size courts. All 10 use Pro Cushion Play surfaces and individual fencing, allowing games to operate independently without balls wandering into neighboring matches. The facility also includes a ball machine, demo paddles, a pro shop, and private event space for groups of up to 20 people.  The space includes organized open play, instruction and events, court reservations, and programs for different experience levels.
From Maryland to Atlanta
Will and Denise Richards founded Dill Dinkers after taking up pickleball in 2021 and struggling to find good indoor court space during colder weather. Their first club opened in Columbia, Maryland, in November 2022. The company has since expanded across the country.
The Metro Atlanta development is led by Daniel and Laura Hardeman along with Stuart Napshin, Evelyn Orenbuch, and Destin Dunham. Their regional agreement covers 30 potential locations across Cobb, Cherokee, Fulton, Clayton, Henry, and DeKalb counties. Napshin is a business strategy professor at Kennesaw State University, providing a local connection for the new Cobb County club.
Dill Dinkers already operates an Atlanta club in the West End. The Kennesaw location will become its second Georgia location.
For an area where pickleball has grown in popularity at remarkable speed, 10 indoor courts are a nice addition. No sun in the eyes, no rain delay, and no July afternoon sun turning the court into a frying pan. Players can concentrate on the dink shots instead.
Dill Dinkers is located in a spot previously occupied by Ozone Recreation and prior to that GoldSmith Golf and Tennis. It is located next door to next to Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park, which was originally a JoAnn’s. Dill Dinkers is scheduled to open in September of 2026, though an exact opening day has not yet been posted.
