Football season is back, and Downtown Kennesaw is turning into the ultimate fan zone with Big Game Day at the United Bankshares Amphitheater. The celebration begins at 5 pm, giving fans plenty of time to grab a spot, unpack chairs, and enjoy snacks before kickoff.
The highlight of the evening is the 7:30 pm SEC showdown between Alabama and Georgia, shown on the amphitheater’s big screen under the lights. An earlier college football game will also be featured, with game to be announced soon. The setup delivers all the energy of a stadium watch party without the road trip.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, snacks, and drinks, but coolers must be 20 quarts or smaller. Admission is free, with no tickets required. General seating is first-come, first-served, so arriving early is a good game plan.
Public parking will not be available at Depot Park during the event, but there are several free parking options nearby. Fans can park at Adams Park and the Ben Robertson Community Center, along Lewis Street between North Main Street and Dallas Street, behind Revival on Main, on the first floor of the Revival on Main parking deck, or at Kennesaw City Hall. Limited handicap parking will be available at Depot Park.
