Joupe Jeht

Joupe Jeht has spent the past few years building a following around North Georgia with Cambodian homestyle cooking at farmers markets and brewery pop ups, including regular appearances at the Woodstock Farmers Market and events with Reformation Brewery. Now the team is working toward its first permanent location in Kennesaw, in the Jiles Plaza Shopping Center at 3055 N Main St, alongside MRR’s Deli and Tacos Del Chavo. The storefront will bring their market favorites under one roof while giving Kennesaw diners a local place to explore Cambodian street food without chasing a tent across multiple zip codes. Initial signage pointed to a summer 2025 opening, although that timeframe has passed and work on the space is still in progress. Until the doors open, the business continues to operate as a pop up and market vendor around metro Atlanta and North Georgia.

Cambodian Street Favorites On The Menu

Joupe Jeht keeps the menu focused on Cambodian street staples. Regulars at their pop ups swear by the grilled beef and chicken sticks, marinated and cooked over high heat for plenty of char. Spring rolls come packed with fresh herbs and vegetables, offering a cool contrast to the grilled items. Chicken curry and pork stew lean into slow-cooked comfort, with plenty of aromatics and a gentle kick that tends to make it disappear faster than planned. Mee Cha, a stir fried noodle dish, remains one of their most talked about plates and shows up often in their videos and social posts.

Steamed buns, known as Nom Pao, add another layer of fun to the menu. The team has highlighted versions filled with pork or chicken teriyaki, along with breakfast-inspired variations like sausage, egg, and cheese. For dessert, mango sticky rice and coconut sticky rice show up in frequent seasonal posts.

What To Try First

First-timers can treat Joupe Jeht like a mini food tour of Phnom Penh street corners. A smart approach is to start with spring rolls and a skewer or two, then share an order of Mee Cha or chicken curry for the table. Nom Pao buns work well for people who like to walk while they eat, since the filling stays tucked neatly inside the steamed dough. Those with a sweet tooth should plan to try the mango sticky rice when mango season allows, with coconut sticky rice as a dependable backup. The portions lean satisfying without being heavy enough to derail the rest of the day, although stretchy pants are never a bad insurance policy.

Still Popping Up Around North Georgia

Although the Kennesaw brick and mortar is still in the works, Joupe Jeht remains active across the region. Their current schedule includes Woodstock, Canton, Alpharetta and other stops that rotate by season. Instagram and Facebook updates highlight weekend market appearances, special event menus, and occasional collaborations, along with teaser posts about the upcoming Kennesaw location. Anyone planning a visit is wise to check the schedule and social feeds before heading out, since locations and hours can shift with the event calendar.
