2026 First Friday Concert Series

The First Friday Concert Series takes place on the first Friday of the month in Downtown Kennesaw. Celebrating its sixth year in 2026, the concert series invites visitors to Downtown Kennesaw’s Main Street Plaza for live music, tasty local brews, and delicious food options every first Friday from April through October, excluding July.

Each monthly concert runs from 7 to 9 pm, providing an ideal way to unwind, socialize, and begin the weekend in Kennesaw’s inviting downtown area. With Main Street Plaza providing the backdrop, attendees will enjoy an evening filled with entertainment and relaxation right in the center of town.

The event is hosted by the Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority and the Kennesaw Downtown Merchants Association.

  • April 3, 2026 – Stephanie Berlanga (pop/folk/acoustic)
    Atlanta-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Stephanie Berlanga blends pop, folk and acoustic influences to create soulful, melodic music with honest lyrics. She began performing at age 8 at local coffee shops and community events and later released her debut EP, The Way Things Go. Influenced by artists such as John Mayer, Fleetwood Mac, Ed Sheeran, Ingrid Michaelson and Taylor Swift, her music is available on major streaming platforms.
  • May 1, 2026 – Kränberries (alternative rock/pop/classic rock)
    Atlanta-based trio Kränberries delivers a high-energy mix of alternative rock, pop and classic rock covers. Known for its lively, dance-ready sets, the band performs hits spanning multiple decades, creating an engaging experience for a wide range of audiences.
  • June 5, 2026 – Dock Rock Radio (sounds of the 1970s and 1980s)
    Dock Rock Radio brings audiences a nostalgic set inspired by the soft rock sounds of the 1970s and 1980s. The six-piece band performs polished renditions of artists such as Michael McDonald, Hall & Oates, Kenny Loggins and Steely Dan, combining smooth melodies and layered harmonies for a timeless concert experience.
  • August 7, 2026 – G Clef & The Playlist (Motown/pop/rock/R&B/hip-hop)
    G Clef & The Playlist performs an energetic mix of Motown, pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop favorites. Featuring a group of seasoned musicians, the band is known for strong vocals, tight instrumentation and a versatile setlist that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.
  • September 4, 2026 – Sons N Britches (Americana/blues/country/folk/rock)
    Sons N Britches blends Americana, blues, country, folk and rock, drawing on decades of collaboration between its founding members. Backed by a seasoned rhythm section, the band delivers cohesive, roots-driven performances that resonate with a wide range of listeners.
  • October 2, 2026 – Groove Daddies (blues/rock/classic hits)
    The Groove Daddies perform a mix of blues, rock and classic hits, combining steady rhythms with recognizable favorites. Known for their consistent sound and engaging stage presence, the band delivers a relaxed, crowd-pleasing performance.

Admission:
The event is free.
Tables are available for reservation for $60-70. Tables seat six.

Am I allowed to bring fliers, coupons, ect to set up and give stuff away if I buy a table? Is there a spot for food vendors to come?

Is the 293 Band performing on Oct. 4 at the amphitheatre or near tunnel? Are there tables available to rent for that concert?
