The Kennesaw Police Department has partnered with the US Drug Enforcement Administration and law enforcement agencies across the country to conduct a Prescription Drug “Take-Back” Day, Saturday, April 30th, 2016 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Abuse of Prescription and Over-The-Counter medicine is one of the fastest growing problems, especially among teens, in the US. Many times expired or unwanted medicine in a home medicine cabinet is the first source of medicine for abusers.

To help reduce this problem and provide an environmentally safe way to dispose of unwanted prescription and over the counter medicines, the Kennesaw Police Department is holding the Drug Take-Back event. Stop by and drop off unwanted Rx and OTC meds, the service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Date:
Saturday, April 30th, 2016 from 10 am to 2 pm

CVS Pharmacy
2782 N Cobb Parkway
