On Saturday, October 19, 2013, Michael Shaffer will be giving a lecture and tour of the future site of Camp McDonald Park. Mr. Shaffer is the Assistant Director of the Kennesaw State University’s Civil War Center. His lecture will cover “The Civil War History of Camp McDonald.”
In addition to the lecture, Friends of Camp McDonald Park will be giving tours of the future site of Camp McDonald Park. Tours are from 8am to 9:45am and 11:15 to noon.
