Kennesaw Grand Prix 5k Runs

The Kennesaw Grand Prix Series is a series of six 5k’s run in the city of Kennesaw.

The six races are:

Swift Cantrell Classic 5K
A May Mother’s Day Weekend 5K race benefiting Swift Cantrell Park.

The Dream Dash 5k
A June Father’s Day weekend 5K race benefiting the Kennesaw Teen Center.

The Sports Fanatic 5K
A July 5k presented by The Dave Krache Foundation benefiting local kids in need to allow them to play the sports they love.

Run For Wounded Heroes 5K
An August 5K race benefiting the Wounded Warriors

Great Locomotive Chase 5k
A September 5K race benefiting the educational programs at the Southern Museum

Garden Gallop
A Halloween themed October 5K race benefiting the Smith Gilbert Gardens Foundation, which supports educational programs and the conservation of the live plant collection at Smith-Gilbert Gardens.

All races are electronically timed and awards are presented to the overall Male and Female winners, Male and Female Masters Winners, and the top 3 finishers in 12 age groups.

Participants in four of the six 5K series races will receive a specially designed hooded pullover.  Join for one or for all and help create a healthier Kennesaw while supporting great causes!

    • yes we are offering pay for 5 get the 6th free. there is a grand prix kick off on April 18th at Big Peach where you can for the races.

  1. Do you have to register for 4 of the 6 races at one time to qualify for the sweatshirt or do they check participation at the end of the series?
