On Saturday, October 11, 2014, Swift-Cantrell Park will be transformed into “Spook-Central Park” for a Fall-O-Ween Fest and outdoor movie. Activities will begin at 5 p.m. and will include free and pay-to-play inflatables, carnival games, a Trick-or-Treat Trail, children’s crafts, and handcarved, illuminated pumpkins.

The Fest will feature a Monster Mash Dance Party from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Zombie judges will be roaming the dance floor, awarding prizes every half-hour to their favorite costumed participants.

At sundown, the City of Kennesaw’s 2014 Outdoor Movie Series continues with a FREE screening of The Goonies. For your seating comfort, bring a blanket or low-back chairs. Pop-up tents, canopies or beach umbrellas that can obstruct the view of others are not permitted. Concessions will be available for purchase. Parking is available inside the park and at neighboring Kennesaw Elementary School. The event may be canceled due to inclement weather conditions.
