Georgia native Corey Smith will headline Backyard Bash at Kennesaw State’s Fifth Third Bank Stadium, Saturday, September 6th. Love and Theft and breakthrough artist Drake White and The Big Fire join Corey to round out the concert line up. Backyard Bash will also showcase food trucks, local BBQ, lawn games such as giant Jenga, inflatable twister and ladder ball and is open to the public.
“We wanted to throw a party to kick off the fall and invite everyone to come play in Atlanta’s backyard.” Derrick Palms, Night Owl Productions director said.
Corey Smith was named one of country music’s hottest new artists in Country Weekly and Music Row Magazine and was featured on the cover of Pollstar as a Hotstar Top Artist. He has hundreds of sold-out performances under his belt and a growing, dedicated fan-base with a passion for Corey’s music.
ACM, CMA, and CMT-nominated duo Love and Theft, made up of singer/songwriters Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson, first hit the scene with their debut single “Runaway” which landed in the top 10 on the Billboard Country Charts. They followed it up with their #1 platinum hit, “Angel Eyes,” from their self-titled album from RCA Records Nashville. Celebrated for the distinctive style, sparkling

Drake White, named, one of Billboard Magazine’s Top 10 Country Artists to Watch in 2013 is an old-soul, who writes timeless songs. His lyrics reflect his mantra of making the very most of every moment. 2013 marked White’s debut on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage and saw the release of his first single “The Simple Life,” which landed in the top 40 on the Billboard Country Chart.
