Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park
Activities:	Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a 2,884 acre park featuring over 17 miles of trails spanning from Kolb's Farm to just north of the visitor's center. Kennesaw mountain was home to some of the heaviest fighting of the Georgia Campaign of the Civil War. At this national park, you can take a hike, watch the wildlife, take pictures, watch a living history demonstration, and more. The top of Kennesaw Mountain rises 1800 feet above sea level and provides spectacular views of downtown Atlanta and the surrounding area.

	Smith-Gilbert Arboretum
Activities:	Visitors can explore the home and gardens surrounding an 1840s plantaion home. Over 3,000 plant species and 30 sculptures by nationally known artists are available for exhibition and study. In addition, there are opportunities for bird watching in the 13 acre site.
